I bet you didn’t even know you needed this closet hack until just now….
I saw this idea while scrolling through TikTok the other night and immediately jumped up and had to try it for myself. My closet was in desperate need of some decluttering and organizing anyways (and purging… I was really needing to get rid of the clothes that no longer fit or get worn).
I absolutely hate folding laundry and putting clothes on hangers. I have four kids, so laundry is endless around here. I can NEVER seem to get caught up. Too often, I just don’t have the time or energy to pull the clothes out of the dryer and fold or hang them, so they sit in there until they are nice and wrinkled and have to be restarted on that lovely “fluff-my-clothes-because-I’m-in-a-lazy-mood cycle.”
But, my friends, this easy peezy closet hack saves me time and stress….
I went to Target and bought some “S” Shower Curtain Hooks for $10 (but you can get similar ones for even cheaper at Amazon)
I then grabbed all of my jeans, pants and even some shorts from the dryer, carried them straight to my closet, and just slid a belt loop over the shower hooks that I had placed over the hanger rod!
wahlah
No hangers. No folding!
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this hack because it saves me time and sanity. Plus, this method helps my closet look more clean and organized, it saves space, and helps me find what I want to wear more easily. You can also use these shower curtain hooks to hang belts, purses and hats from your closet rods!
